When is the Fall Festival open?
The Fall Festival runs from September 20 to November 2, 2025. We’re open on weekends and holidays from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and select weekdays starting October 6, from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
What’s included with admission?
Admission is $23 per person on weekends & holidays (ages 2+) and $18 per person on weekdays in October (ages 2+).

When is the best time to come?
This season, demand for a day at the farm is at an all-time high, and we often reach capacity quickly on weekends and holidays. For the best chance of entry, we recommend arriving right at 10:00 AM.
If you’d like guaranteed entry and a more relaxed experience, plan your visit during the week.

What’s the theme of the corn maze this year?
The 2025 corn maze theme is the Loch Ness Monster! Explore 7 acres of twists and turns as you search for “Nessie” — included with admission.
Is there a haunted house?
Yes! Our Daytime Haunted House runs in October on select dates (Oct 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 25, 26) from 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM. Tickets are $11 per person. It features gory, bloody, and scary props — recommended for older kids, teens, and adults.
Can I pick pumpkins?
Yes! We offer pumpkin, vegetable, and flower picking (zinnias & sunflowers). Pumpkins and produce are priced separately by size or quantity.
Do you offer apple picking?
We offer pumpkin picking and vegetable picking, but we do not offer apple picking at Schmitt’s Family Farm.
Can I bring my own wagon for pumpkins?
Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own wagon this season. We also have wagons available on a first-come, first-served basis for $5. Wagons are sanitized between each use.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, but only at certain locations.

Is there an ATM on Site?
Yes! An ATM is available on Saturdays and Sundays.
Do I need to make a reservation?
No. Tickets are sold at the door only on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not offer pre-sale tickets or online reservations.

Can we bring outside food?
No. Outside food is not permitted on the farm, unless it is required for medical reasons.
Can I bring my drone?
Absolutely not. Drones are not permitted anywhere on our premises. They pose safety risks, and our location is too close to an airport to legally operate them.
Can I bring my pet?
No. Pets are not allowed on the farm, with the exception of certified service animals.
Can I bring a ball and play catch?
No. For the safety of all our visitors, balls and games of any kind are not permitted inside the farm.
Do you offer private parties?
No, we do not offer private parties at Schmitt’s Family Farm.
Do you offer fall field trips for groups or schools?
At this time, F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm is no longer offering fall field trips for groups or schools. We encourage schools, groups, and families to join us during our public Fall Festival weekends and holiday openings to enjoy all the fun activities together.
Is there Free Parking?
Yes! Parking is free in our lot, and there is plenty of additional free parking in the area. Please follow the road signs and staff directions to be guided to the proper parking areas.
